Creamy Butternut Squash Pasta Sauce

instructions for: Creamy Butternut Squash Pasta Sauce
ingredients
1 medium butternut squash

2 Tbsp coconut oil

1 medium yellow onion, chopped

three cloves garlic, chopped

2 bay leaves

1 Tbsp dried oregano

½ tsp ground sage

¼ tsp cayenne pepper, or to taste

1 ¾ cups pure tomato sauce

1 ¾ cups coconut cream

2 tsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp natural sea salt, or to flavor

½ cup chopped fresh basil

1. Preheat oven to 375ºF and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Trim ends of the squash and halve lengthwise. Scoop out seeds and region squash reduce side down at the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes, turn the warmth off and go away the squash within the oven for 15 mins or until prepared to apply.
